Minas Basin's relatively small size allows us a certain amount of flexibility which is not available to our larger competitors who require longer lead times on their orders. Minas Basin is located in Hantsport, Nova Scotia, Canada, along the Eastern Seaboard. We ship out of Saint John, New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Port of Saint John is a year-round deep water port with some of the most modern and best equipped terminal facilities in North America. The Port of Halifax, a year-round ice-free, deep water port with a high-efficiency double stack terminal is located just 50 miles/80 kilometers from our mill and is able to handle both breakbulk and container shipments. Hantsport's proximity to all major east coast cities and our affiliation with Armour Transportation Group, allow us to reliably serve all North American destinations. Our facility is CTPAT certified providing easy cross border access. Ultimately, our location permits us to be a supplier of linerboard and coreboard to the world.
